900 people died due to lightning strikes in Bihar in last two-and-a-half years

PATNA: Altogether 900 people died due to lightning strikes in Bihar in the last two and a half years.

Of them, 459 people died in 2020, 280 in 2021 while 161 people died due to lightning strikes in the state so far in the current year, a disaster management department's senior officer informed CM Nitish Kumar during a meeting in Patna on Friday.
