Think DSLRs are dead? Not quite, even in 2026. Nikon may have moved firmly into the mirrorless era, but it hasn't forgotten its high-end DSLRs.
Nikon's D780 and flagship D6 are both six-year-old full-frame DSLRs, but both have just received new firmware updates that fix a handful of exposure-related bugs.
There are no flashy new features here, but it's a reassuring sign that Nikon is still ironing out the quirks of these older DSLRs.
