The Miami Dolphins have had a number of talented players that have impacted their season in 2023, and six of them have received the honor of being named to the 2024 Pro Bowl Games the week before the Super Bowl.
Miami’s Pro Bowl selections for the year include quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, running back Raheem Mostert, fullback Alec Ingold, left tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
Tagovailoa (first Pro Bowl selection) currently leads the league in completion percentage (69.6%) and passing yards (4,451). He’s also set a career-high in touchdowns (28) while playing in 16 games so far this season.
Mostert (first Pro Bowl selection) rushed for 1,000 yards for the first time in his career this year. He’s also found the end zone a remarkable 21 total times which leads the NFL and is a Dolphins single-season record. He also leads the NFL and set a franchise record for rushing touchdowns this year (18).
Hill (eighth Pro Bowl selection), while he may fall short of his 2,000-yard goal, has been exceptional. He’s recorded a league-leading 1,717 yards this year (a Dolphins single-season record and career-high) and 12 touchdowns on 112 receptions (eight off of breaking the franchise single-season record he set last year).
Ingold (first Pro Bowl selection) has helped Miami become one of the top rushing offenses in the league, as they’ve averaged 137.5 yards on the ground per game (fifth-most in the NFL). He’s also totaled 119 yards on 13 receptions.
Armstead (fifth Pro Bowl selection) hasn’t been on the field for every game, but he’s absolutely been an integral part of a unit that’s been one of the NFL’s best despite injuries everywhere. In his nine games in 2023, he’s graded as the third-best tackle by Pro Football Focus (84.9).
Ramsey (seventh Pro Bowl selection) battled back from a torn meniscus in training camp to return to action for the Dolphins’ Week 8 matchup with the New England Patriots. Since then, the whole defense has looked much better. In his nine games, he’s recorded 18 tackles, five passes defensed and three interceptions. He’s also allowed a career-low 44.8 passer rating against.
It’s a great honor for these players to be selected to the Pro Bowl, but the Dolphins are hoping they’re busy planning for the Super Bowl during that weekend.
