It was another afternoon to forget for Eddie Howe and Newcastle United after they were thrashed 5-1 by Tottenham Hotspur. It was a stark reminded that the Magpies are not mathematically safe in their relegation battle with eight games still to play.

Fabian Schar gave Newcastle the lead inside first-half, before Ben Davies restored parity for the hosts. Antonio Conte's side ran riot in the second-half with the Magpies hitting the self destruct button.

The second 45 was that bad, Newcastle United supporters gave Bruno Guimaraes the highest rating of 5.5 for a cameo that lasted just over half an hour. Schar and Martin Dubravka were among the other highest rated players, with average ratings of 5.0 and 4.7, which just about tells the full story.
