51.8 acres in Kolkata tech hub for Adani hyperscale data centre

Partha Chatterjee Kolkata Adani Group Gautam Adani Bengal New Town Silicon Valley

KOLKATA: Adani Enterprise Ltd, the flagship group of Adani Group, will set up a 'hyperscale data centre' at Bengal Silicon Valley in New Town, industries minister Partha Chatterjee announced on Monday. The state cabinet has okayed a proposal to allot 51.8 acres for the project.

Hyperscale data centres are advanced buildings that provide the space, power, cooling and network infrastructure required to support mass-scale requirements of data and cloud computing.
