When I was working as a mechanic, there were always those customers who came in and said all the wrong things. While we want to gain your trust and make you feel comfortable, no mechanic wants to feel rushed or be told how to do their job based on your Google searches. Certain things you say can really rub them the wrong way. All they’re looking for is clear (and truthful) communication to diagnose issues accurately and keep you safe on the road.
