5 Eagles with the most to prove against the Browns in Preseason Week 2

Philadelphia liked what they saw on both sides of the football during joint practices with the Browns.

With kickoff less than an hour away, here are five players with the most to prove on Sunday.

QB Reid Sinnett

Sinnett was 9/17 passing in the preseason opener, and he’ll need to give the Eagles a reason to keep three quarterbacks on such a talented roster.

If Gainwell continues to be underwhelming, Philadelphia could look to trade for another running back after coming into the season expecting big things from the former Memphis star.

Reagor has been solid during training camp and has made a few plays minus the pressure of performing against No. 1 cornerbacks. On Sunday, he’ll need to show that he can dominate the lesser competition or risk losing a roster spot.

A solid performance could also bring Reagor some trade inquiries from other organizations.

Gowan has lost ground to Josh Jobe in the cornerback battle.

With Philadelphia likely to carry ten players in the secondary, he’ll need to perform well against the Browns’ receiving corps while competing against Kary Vincent Jr. and Mario Goodrich.

A veteran with extensive game experience, Tartt had been away for personal reasons, and Sunday offers his first game action with the Eagles.

No longer a roster lock or competing for a starting job, Tartt needs to show Jonathan Gannon that he can add value to an already versatile secondary that can shift cornerbacks to safety and vice versa.

Sunday afternoon is an to showcase their abilities on national television.
