With multiple key players set to miss Monday Night Football due to injuries, the San Francisco 49ers promoted a pair of players from the practice squad before hosting the Vikings in Santa Clara.
Cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles and wide receiver Chris Conley will join the 49ers active roster on Monday Night Football against the Vikings. This will be Jean-Charles’ third elevation this season and Conley’s second.

Before Jean-Charles joined the 49ers, the former App State defensive back played 21 games with the Green Bay Packers since 2021. Jean-Charles was drafted in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL draft by Green Bay.
Conley has spent nine seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s also had stops in Jacksonville and Houston. He will provide depth to the 49ers’ pass-catching unit that will be without Deebo Samuel on Monday Night.
Kickoff against the Vikings is set for 5:15 p.m PT on Monday night.
