The 49ers on Friday released their second practice participation report of the week. With the Monday night game, everything gets pushed back one day, so the Friday report is like a Thursday report in a normal week. There’ll be an official status report for Monday night released Saturday.
There were two changes from Thursday to Friday, but three key 49ers remain out of practice.
Here’s the participation report from Friday’s session:
Did not participate
RB Christian McCaffrey (oblique)
WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder)
LT Trent Williams (ankle)
This trio was out Thursday as well while they nurse injuries suffered in Week 6. All three are capable of playing without practicing, so it’s not out of the question that they’re still going to be available in Monday’s game. Two consecutive missed practices isn’t a great sign though.
Limited participation
G Aaron Banks (ankle)
LB Dre Greenlaw (hamstring)
CB Isaiah Oliver (knee)
Banks and Greenlaw returned to action after not participating Thursday. That’s a good sign for both. Banks dealt with a shoulder leading into last week and wound up playing. Oliver’s participation remains unchanged.
Full participation
S George Odum (quadricep)
Odum was a full go Thursday as well.
