In the first half, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw exited the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs with an apparent leg injury.
Greenlaw appeared to suffer an injury while running back onto the field. After entering the blue medical tent, Greenlaw was carted off the field. Greenlaw was later ruled out of the game with an Achilles injury.
Following the 49ers’ loss in overtime to the Chiefs, Kyle Shanahan confirmed to reporters that Greenlaw suffered a torn Achilles.
