Sukeban Games has announced that .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND is now content complete, marking the point where the game’s full story and encounters are playable from start to finish.
The studio says the remaining work is focused on polishing, including bug fixing, quality-of-life updates, optimization, editing, and localization, with a release date update planned for the coming months if development stays on track.
Sukeban Games is known for its hit visual novel VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action. It was made by two Venezuelan developers, Christopher “kiririn51” Ortiz and Fernando “IronicLark” Damas, and went on to become a niche hit among the players, garnering quite a lot of attention in Japan. It was notable for its worldbuilding, clever dialogue, and incredible music by Michael “Garoad” Kelly.
After the success of VA-11 Hall-A, the spiritual successor, N1RV Ann-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action was announced. Initially slated for the 2020 release, it endured several delays, with nothing concrete on it since the November 2022 dev log:

.45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND has also been in development for years under the internal name Project D, but the updates have been posted on the Sukeban blog every month, with kiririn51 detailing what has been done and how things are going.
The game itself is an Active Time Action RPG inspired by the PS1 classic Parasite Eve. The players will follow Reila Mikazuchi, a former killer trying to rebuild her life, with combat built around positioning, evasion, pausing time once an action bar fills, and chaining skills to survive.
The game being content-complete is great news, but Sukeban hasn’t publicly locked in a release date yet. Still, .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND is shaping up to be the studio’s biggest game since VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action.
