4,052 stranded Indian seafarers repatriated amid West Asia crisis, says Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal

New Delhi: As many as 4,052 stranded Indian seafarers have been safely repatriated during the geopolitical crisis in West Asia, Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said on Wednesday.

Sonowal chaired a comprehensive review meeting with senior officials of Ports, Shipping and Waterways on Wednesday to assess the safety and security of Indian seafarers amid the evolving geopolitical crisis in West Asia and beyond.
