3M has recalled about 53,634 Scotch thermal laminators sold on Amazon because they can overheat and pose a fire hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Oct. 15. The company has received 63 reports of laminators smoking, melting, and overheating, including five reports of fires.
One report involved minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.
