Recent research by online travel agent loveholidays found that nearly two in five (37%) Brits admit to not leaving their hotel every day when on holiday.
In fact, nearly half (47%) say they don’t even feel guilty if they don’t step foot outside the hotel during a summer getaway, with many quite happy to put their feet up and relax throughout their trip.
A third (33%) of Brits will prioritise booking a hotel with a selection of on-site restaurants and bars to enjoy, while 34% will always ensure the hotel has a decent sized swimming pool – giving them all the more reason to never leave.
