2XKO prize pools at all three 2026 Evo events raised to $75,000

2XKO’s Riot Games-sponsored prize pools at Evo Japan 2026, Evo 2026, and Evo France 2026 have been increased to $75,000 per event. Player spending on the game’s Frame Perfect bundle is the primary reason for this increase, as confirmed by Evo itself. The prize money is added on top of Evo’s own base prize pool.

In December 2025, Riot Games announced its competitive plan for the entire 2XKO season. The developer said that a portion of proceeds from the competitive-themed skin sets would go toward funding prize pools and tournament production costs for future events.

Frame Perfect is the first such bundle, and judging by the significant increase, it was a major success, even despite the game having lost many of its developers due to unsatisfactory launch results.

Before the new announcement, the prize pool for Evo Japan was listed at $60,000. It’s unknown if this amount could increase further beyond $75,000, or if any additional bundle sales will go toward different event prize pools.

Riot Games also runs a separate $5,000 Duo Bounty for the highest-placing duo at the event.

The new $75,000 figure raises the Riot-sponsored side of the pot across all three Evo tournaments in the game’s 2026 circuit. Evo Japan runs from May 1 to 3 in Tokyo, Evo Las Vegas is set for June 26 to 28 in Las Vegas, and Evo France 2026 is happening in Nice from Oct. 9 to 11.

Riot’s 2XKO Esports Product Lead, Ben Goldhaber, added that this increase applies to Battle Coliseum 2026, which will be held this November in São Paulo, Brazil. He also reiterated that the figure is being counted before Duo Bounty money and event-sponsored prizing are added, so the final prize money is likely to exceed $75,000.

Big news: we’re boosting the Riot sponsored prize pool at all 3 Evo’s — not to mention Battle Coliseum — to a whopping $75k. This is BEFORE the Duo Bounty and Evo-sponsored prizing. Let’s go

This could serve as a calming blanket to anyone who was wondering if Riot Games devs would come through on the promise of competitive support for 2XKO, even with the major restructuring within the development team.
