NEW DELHI: Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne stitched a vital unbeaten 94-run partnership for the third wicket as Australia reached 190 for two at tea on Day 1 of the second Ashes Test at Lord's in London.

As England's pacers struggled to take advantage of the overcast conditions, Smith and Labuschagne powered Australia as the visitors scored runs at a healthy rate.
