RTE’s Stephen Byrne has announced his shock departure from the station.
The TV and 2fm radio presenter has worked for the national broadcaster for over a decade, after first joining as part of the kids show line-up in his teens.
But the weekend radio host, who presents his own show on 2fm from 3-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, announced he will hang up his mic there today.
