Liverpool's Comic Con 2023 has been a memorable one so far, and we've still got another day to go.
The highly anticipated event loved by comic book fans, sci-fi lovers and celebrity spotters is known for its display of extravagant costumes. During Comic Con, many visitors dress up as their favourite characters, with some costumes taking months to make.
With huge queues outside the Exhibition Centre this morning, our ECHO photographer Colin Lane met plenty of different of characters. From Spider-Man to Star Wars Stormtroopers, Batman and Red Dead Redemption cowboys, there were loads of vibrant cosplay costumes on display.

With wholesome costumes such as Mary Poppins to creepier alternatives such as Pennywise the clown and Freddy Krueger, visitors of Comic Con offered lots of variety. Some attendees travelled hours for the event, with a lot of preparation needed for their costumes.
Inside the exhibition centre saw props and set displays for popular franchises such as Stranger Things, including a set featuring iconic character Eleven. Throughout the day, fans were seen enjoying having photographs taken at many attractions such as training schools, video gaming, activities, displays, and more.
