23-year-old Tushar Kumar becomes UK’s youngest Indian-origin mayor in Borehamwood

A 23-year-old Councillor has become the youngest Indian-origin mayor in the history of the United Kingdom after being officially appointed Mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood.

The appointment was confirmed during the council’s Mayor Making Ceremony held at Fairway Hall in Borehamwood on May 13.
