This small electric crossover has a ‘sophisticated feel’ and a bigger battery than the original
Launched in 2020, Peugeot’s small electric crossover is one of the most successful on the market, said Top Gear Magazine. But there’s always room for improvement, and this model has new three-claw front LEDs, a wider textured grille and restyled rear lights. There’s a new motor, raising power by 15% to 156bhp, and a slightly bigger battery, up from 47kWh to 51kWh (net), giving a 0-62mph time of 9.1 seconds.

Thanks to better capacity and improved efficiency, WLTP range has risen from 214 to 250 miles per charge, said Sunday Times Driving. All new e-2008s come with 100kW DC rapid charging (0-80% in 30mins), or a home wallbox will take 7.5hrs. On the road, it feels pretty punchy, particularly in Sport mode, with pliant suspension and damping giving a supple ride. The brakes are consistent, and steering oddly responsive.
