Priority Nos. 1, 2 and 3 for the Seahawks this offseason are improving their defensive line. Seattle has already signed two interior defensive linemen and has met with a few more free agents. They are also doing their due diligence on several defensive line prospects ahead of the 2023 NFL draft.
Now we can add two more names to that list. Seattle will be meeting with Tennessee EDGE Byron Young as well as Northwestern DT Adetomiwa Adebawore, according to Aaron Wilson.

Adebawore would give Seattle what it needs most up front – pressure from the interior. Over the last two seasons at Northwestern he totaled 9.5 sacks and 17.5 tackles for a loss.
The real draws for Adebawore are his length and athleticism. At the combine he was measured at 6-foot-2, 282 pounds with 33.875″ arms and 10.5″ hands. He ran a 4.49 40 yard dash, posted a 37.5″ vertical and a 10’5″ broad jump. He also had 27 bench press reps, giving him a 97 overall athletic score – which ranks first at his position in the class.
Here’s a look at Adebawore’s college highlights.
At the moment Adebawore is projected to be a late second-round pick.
