MIAMI — One person died near an Allapattah restaurant and another died at Jackson Memorial Hospital after three people were shot in Sunday’s first hours, Miami police say.
The third person is in stable condition at Jackson’s Ryder Trauma Center, police say.
Two ShotSpotter alerts around 1:30 a.m. brought Miami Fire Rescue to 2146 NW 36th St. That’s the address of La Nueva Banana, but also nearby is Gallito’s Cafe Restaurant & Lounge. Once there, fire rescue workers found the three people shot.
