BHOPAL: Two people died in two separate road accidents in the city during the past 24 hours. In the first case, a 22-year-old man, who was knocked down by a speeding unidentified car in Barkhedi on Bhadbhada-Bilkisganj Road in Ratibad locality on Friday night died while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The deceased was identified as Monu Singh.
In another case, deceased Abhishek Soni, 22, who worked as a supervisor at a construction firm died in accident. An earthmover was operational near Minal Residency Colony gate number 4. Abhishek was standing behind it when the operator negligently reversed the machine and knocked down Abhishek. He died during treatment.
