2 company Secretaries under lens for endorsing Chinese firms

HYDERABAD: The ministry of corporate affairs (MCA) has asked the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) to take disciplinary action against two company secretaries for endorsing the documents for incorporation of dummy firms linked to Chinese nationals.

The accused Chinese companies were involved in loan app and betting app cases in Hyderabad. The Enforcement Directorate had issued summons last year to the Chinese nationals invovled in the loan app cases to appear but is yet to get any reply from them.
