One of the most jaw-dropping moments captured on the rugby field has gone completely viral once again.
Tendai Mtawarira is well known for being a World Cup-winning South Africa rugby legend, and this moment quite aptly portrays why he was given the name 'The Beast'.
During a game between Mtawarira's Sharks and Cheetahs in 2012, he lifted up flanker Keegan Daniel to collect the kick-off. However, something went terribly wrong, as all 6ft 2in and 15 stone of Daniel tilted over the horizontal with ball in hand as his head looked destined for the ground.

Serious injury was avoided with an unbelievable feat of strength shown by Mtawarira, who proceeded to desperately hold Daniel in place with a titan grip on his shorts.
In a moment of great sportsmanship, players from both teams helped Daniel return to the ground and play resumed.
It has been given a new lease of life on TikTok, becoming the most-watched rugby video on the platform this week with 2.4 million views in just three days.

Viewers were taken aback.
"He just held 200+ lbs above his head without struggle" said one.
"He trusted his team mate 100%" said another.
Mtawarira is now retired, but has kept himself very busy during that time. He recently signed with renowned American talent agency 'Roc Nation', as well as featuring on the front cover of GQ Magazine in July 2022.
