UPDATE: Dillon Cree has been traced by police after being reported missing
POLICE have issued an urgent appeal after a 16-year-old boy was reported missing in East Ayrshire.
Dillon Cree was last seen at around 11am on Friday in the Baird Place area of Kilmarnock.
He is described as around 5ft 4ins, of thin build and with curly, brown hair.
He was wearing a black hoodie when he was last seen.
Police said concerns are growing for Dillon's welfare as they issued an appeal to members of the public.
Inspector Michael Steven said: “We need to make sure Dillon is safe and well and we are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be to get in touch.
“If you can help please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 4157 of Friday, 22 May, 2026.”
