NEW DELHI: The Big Bash League on Friday witnessed its former champions Sydney Thunder bowled out for the lowest total ever in a senior T20 cricket match. The Sydney Thunder, who won the 2015-16 edition of the league, were bundled out for just 15 runs by Adelaide Strikers at Sydney Showground Stadium.

Adelaide Strikers scored 139/9 and took just 5.5 overs to bowl out their opponents to register a comprehensive 124 runs victory in the fifth match of the BBL 2022-23 edition. Sydney's total of 15 all out broke the previous record of 21 all out by Turkey against Czech Republic in 2019.
