John Hackett
Passed away suddenly in his sleep in Spain on 27th December 2022. John was well known as a Driving Instructor in Crewe & Nantwich in the 1980s snd 1990s helping hundreds of people pass their tests. He was a Vice-President of Crewe & Nantwich rugby club where two of his sons played. He was married to Mary Hackett for over 50 years before she passed away in 2016. All four of his children, John, Paul, Ian & Ann attended Malbank school. Before moving to Nantwich, John was a semi-professional footballer. He playied in goal for South Liverpool, Bangor City and Winsford Utd amongst others. He had 8 adoring grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
