LUCKNOW: In a major reshuffle in the police department, as many as 12 IPS officers were transferred by the Yogi Adityanath-led govt in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. It included 10 district police chiefs.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Hathras Vineet Jaiswal was shifted in the same capacity to Amroha, while SP Amroha Poonam was kept on waiting. SP Balrampur Hemant Kutiyal was asked to take charge as SSP Moradabad and SSP Moradabad Babloo Kumar was waiting for his posting.
Recently, in a public poll conducted in Gorakhpur police zone, the district police of Balrampur was adjudged as the best amongst the 11 districts police.
On the other hand, Commandant PAC Bareilly, Rajesh Saxena was made new SP Balrampur. SP Rampur Ankit Mittal was given the position of Rajesh. Ashok Kumar who was attached to DGP headquarters in Lucknow was given charge of SP Rampur. SP Santkabirnagar Kaustubh was made SP Maharajganj, while Sonam Kumar who was SP in Gorakhpur was shifted in the same capacity to Santkabirnagar.
While, SP Maharajganj Pradeep Gupta was shifted in the same capacity to PAC in Kanpur Nagar.
SP Chitrakoot Dhawal Jaiswal was made new SP Kushinagar and SP Kushinagar Sachindra Patel was waiting for his new posting.
