11 Haryana IAS officers will retire by year-end, govt worried

CHANDIGARH: The file on granting a three-month extension to Rajeev Arora, the additional chief secretary (ACS) of the Haryana government's home and health departments is pending with the chief minister's office (CMO) for final approval even as 10 other senior bureaucrats in the state are due to attain superannuation till the end of this year.

By January next year, the Haryana government will have a new team of senior bureaucrats. Haryana has reputation for rehabilitation of retired bureaucrats as most senior officers, especially former chief secretaries and additional chief secretaries have been adjusted on important posts. So, some of these senior officers could be adjusted on important posts after their retirement.
