Russia on Thursday said it was still waiting for Ukraine to commit to new talks in Istanbul on Monday, after Kyiv demanded Moscow send its peace terms before pledging to attend the meeting.

The plant has been held by Russia since the early days of the war following Moscow's full-scale invasion in February 2022, although it isn't producing power.

Russia fired 90 drones at Ukraine overnight, killing three and injuring dozens of people as Kyiv law enforcement reported more than 2,000 strikes along the front line and in residential neighbourhoods.
