A new report claims more investors are joining OpenAI's latest round of funding, potentially propelling it to become the world's dominant AI company worth trillions of dollars, potentially ahead of Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Apple.

OpenAI is reportedly in talks to raise $6.5 billion from investors, pushing its market capitalization to approximately $150 billion. The startup also wants to raise $5 billion in debt from a few banks.

Thrive Capital is expected to lead the investment, committing $1 billion to the round.

Savvy has raised $15.5 million in an additional round led by Canvas Ventures, closing the startup’s Series A at $26.5 million, Fortune can exclusively report. Thrive Capital, Brewer Lane Ventures, Index Ventures, The House Fund, and Alumni Ventures, all existing investors, also participated in the round.
