Brooks Koepka cracked a rare joke about a swift PGA Tour return in a dig at LIV Golf critics ahead of his bid for a third US Open title

Brooks Koepka, who will play with Rory McIlroy at the US Open, has spoken following the news of the merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf which was announced last week

The recent merger of the PGA Tour and Saudi-backed LIV Golf ended a long battle between the two, typically framed as a struggle between pure, upright American values and brute economic, political and even murderous force. A joint statement from Monahan and the PGA Tour’s policy board was released on Tuesday evening.
