A new report suggests that criminal organizations have evolved their synthetic drug production methods and shifted away from stationary "narco labs" to smaller, more mobile facilities

Harfuch called the number of clandestine labs seized as "unprecedented" and credited the Mexican Army and Navy with locating labs in 19 states across the country

"It doesn't happen too often in our state that (smugglers) transport people in a trailer box as if they were cargo" said Chihuahua's Public Safety Secretary

An advocacy group has also reported that, on top of the murders, authorities need to pay attention to the almost 300 people that have gone missing
