As a Russian ceasefire was announced, Ukrainian civilians began to flee besieged cities like Sumy and Irpin as the total number of refugees reaches two million, according to the UN.

Of the 700 students, 18 are from Telangana

Students from India and China, allies of Russia, have been evacuated.

A second convoy of evacuees left the Ukrainian city of Sumy through a "humanitarian corridor" created under a temporary ceasefire agreement with Russia on Tuesday, Ukraine's deputy presidential chief of staff Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.
