The legal firm representing the thousands of plaintiffs in a class action over dangerous pelvic mesh could take up to a third of the compensation payment.

In an announcement Monday, Shine Lawyers revealed the mammoth settlement which will go towards women injured by being implanted with Johnson & Johnson's pelvic mesh and vaginal tape devices.

The settlement will help cover women's ongoing treatment for injuries caused by the mesh implants.
