During grandstand cleaning and inspection last week in preparation for the upcoming NASCAR All-Star weekend in May, track operations staff discovered cracks in the original concrete in section N of the grandstands toward Turn 1.

Again this season, the iconic 0.625-mile track will host two days of racing, a Truck Series race on May 18 followed by the Cup Series’ all-star race on May 19.
