The 17-year-old boy was in the 1200 block of South Ashland Avenue about 5:15 p.m. Monday when he was shot multiple times, He died at Stroger Hospital.

The man was in the 700 block of South Loomis Street when he was shot, police said.

Police said no one was injured in the attacks and no one was in custody.

Chicago police said the driver went through a light in the 500 block of South Oakley Boulevard, hitting a squad car with two police officers inside. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
