The biggest federal workers union in the nation recently accepted a resolution backing cannabis legalization and urging for the removal of policies penalizing federal workers over their off-the-clock marijuana use in states where the plant is legal.

Massachusetts House and Senate both passed cannabis compromise legislation on Sunday that would set up a more equitable environment in the legal marijuana industry.

In Missouri, there are two citizen-initiated measures pending signature verification. One would legalize marijuana in the state. The other proposal would enact an electoral system combining top-four primaries and ranked-choice voting for general elections. The state must verify whether enough signatures have been collected by August 9.
