James Gunn has revealed scenes in his new 'Superman' movie were inspired by Tom Cruise's aviation blockbuster 'Top Gun: Maverick' with the director using drones to help create action shots in the air.

Nicholas Hoult teased that there are "a lot of great components" to the upcoming 'Superman' flick.

After it was reported 'Superman' would be undergoing some reshoots ahead of its July 2025 release date, director James Gunn has confirmed production on the movie will indeed start up again, but only for "a day and a half" to get "a handful of individual shots to enhance the film".
