The 26-year-old attended the Motorsport Australia Awards Gala in Melbourne and received two awards. One was for his win in the 2023 Supercars Championship (which is also the Australian Touring Car Championship), which he won for the first time.

It was a frantic final half-hour session of the day as teams constantly cycled through the pits to practice driver changes, refuelling and brake calliper changes.

The former Supercars full-timer is set to team up with Super2 regular Aaron Love in BRT's wildcard entry for the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000.
