Indian students plan longer stays abroad amid shifting global mobility rules
Indian students planning to study abroad appear more inclined to stay longer than their Chinese peers, according to the IELTS Voices 2026 survey. Among study-focused respondents, 41% of Indians expected to stay in their destination country for three to five years, compared with 26% of Chinese respondents.
