LOS ANGELES — A 25-year-old Anaheim, California, man is facing felony charges of assault and hate crimes in connection with violent attacks against women in Orange County, prosecutors said Tuesday.

The 23-year-old suspect burned the cross in front of his Black neighbors because of their race, according to the U.S. Justice Department.
