About six months after his arrest, Jharkhand’s former Chief Minister and JMM leader Hemant Soren was granted bail by the state high court today in the alleged land scam case, Indian Express reported. 

In March this year, former Trinamool Congress leader Tapas Roy – “frustrated” at his party’s “silence” over raids at his residence by the Enforcement Directorate – quit the TMC and jumped ship to the BJP. But in the run up to the January probe, the BJP itself levelled corruption charges…
