AMETHI(UP): A case of causing death by negligence was registered on Sunday against four employees of Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi, including its chief executive officer, over the death of a 22-year-old woman, police said.

“A case has been registered against Indian Youth Congress’ Amethi district president Shubham Singh and his associates for allegedly assaulting and threatening a Dalit man,” police said on August 27.

An FIR was registered against district-level leaders of the BJP in Amethi, along with eight other unidentified people, for allegedly assaulting Amethi district Youth Congress office-bearer Shubham Singh.
