47 trains cancelled due to accident in Andhra Pradesh; passengers stranded

BHUBANESWAR: The Indian Railways has cancelled as many as 47 trains following the train accident that occurred between Alamanda and Kantakapalle on Vizianagaram-Kottavalasa railway section in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. As the Chennai-Howrah mainline was affected in the accident, the Railways cancelled, diverted and partially cancelled many trains.
