Zydus, Sunshine to set up $20 million pharma JV in Sri Lanka

Zydus Sunshine Sri Lanka Zydus Lifesciences

Zydus Lifesciences and Sunshine Healthcare Lanka on Friday announced a 50:50 joint venture to build a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka, with a total investment commitment of over $20 million.

According to a stock exchange filing, Zydus will invest up to $5 million in one or more tranches to acquire 50% equity in the newly incorporated Zydus Sunshine Lifesciences.
