Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has signed into law constitutional changes extending his time in office from 2028 to 2030. The legislation, known as CAB3, also allows parliament, rather than a public vote, to elect future presidents.

Government spokesperson Nick Mangwana confirmed the change on Tuesday, in a post on social media, announcing that the bill was now law.
