The second trailer for Challengers was released on Wednesday, February 21, showcasing stars Zendaya, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Faist in a steamy love triangle. Directed by Luca Guadagnino, the film revolves around tennis prodigy Tashi Duncan (Zendaya) who becomes a coach to her husband Art (Faist) after he faces a losing streak due to an injury. The plot thickens as Art competes against Tashi's ex-boyfriend, Patrick (O’Connor), in a challenger event.
The trailer teases viewers with intimate moments, including shared kisses and a suggestive smoke break scene. Zendaya's character challenges traditional relationship dynamics, as she questions the need for someone to be in love with her. The film's unconventional premise has been humorously dubbed 'Codependency: The Movie' by Zendaya.
