Zeliang's 'highest offer' from Centre remark riles NNPGs

DIMAPUR: The working committee of the seven Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) said it is against the principle of the "Agreed Position" for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) to seek the "highest offer" from the Centre on the Naga issue.

The UDA had been formed after the opposition NPF joined the People's Democratic Alliance (PDA) government to facilitate the Naga political solution. The NNPGs and Centre signed the "Agreed Position" on November 17, 2017.
